Mr. Sloan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University where graduated magna cum laude with a degree in German and International and Comparative Politics.
Mr. Sloan cut his teeth trying cases with Mr. Zayed. During his first jury trial, Mr. Sloan and Mr. Zayed received an excess verdict of $165,000.00 on a $100,000.00 policy. This was just the beginning of Mr. Sloan’s success at trial. In 2022 Mr. Sloan was also a member of a trial team that received an $800,000.00 verdict on a $100,000.00 policy in DuPage County, a traditionally defense friendly venue.
Success at trial is only one way Mr. Sloan wins for his clients. Throughout his career Mr. Sloan has been able to bring hundreds of matters to conclusion through pre-suit negotiations. He realizes that every case is different and not all cases require the expense and time of a lawsuit for him to recover the maximum amount for his clients.
Mr. Sloan is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of various professional organizations including: Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
